The company was established as Anoopam India in 1974. The company was established with the aim of importing and distributing various types of speciality engineering plastics.

The company was converted to pvt. limited company in 1991 & hence took the name Anoopam India Pvt. Ltd. The company is consignee agent for Estane (Thermoplastic Polyurethane mfg. by Lubrizol Inc.) and Formulated Polymers Limited (Nylon 6 and 66).
